Solve the inequalities and represent the solution graphically on number line: 5x + 1 > –24, 5x – 1 < 24
5x + 1 > –24
⇒ 5x > –25
⇒ x > –5 … (1)
5x – 1 < 24
⇒ 5x < 25
⇒ x < 5 … (2)
