How many lattice points are there in one unit cell of each of the following lattice?
(i) Face-centred cubic
(ii) Face-centred tetragonal
(iii) Body-centred
(i) Face centered cubic - it has lattice point at the corner = 8 & lattice point at the faces = 6 So total lattice point = 14 b.
(ii) Face centered tetragonal - has lattice point at the corner = 8 & lattice point at the faces = 6 So total lattice point = 14 c.
(iii) Body centered - it has 8 lattice point at the corner & 1 lattice point at the center,so total lattice point is 9
